MSgt Thomas “Al” Biddle had 18 months till retirement when he lost his battle with PTSD and died by suicide on his 39th birthday in 2011. In the aftermath of this tragedy his wife discovered that many of the foundations did not assist families that lost their Veteran to suicide. Lisa Biddle started this foundation so that these family could “Soar”. The Foundation assists Veteran's families financially in a wide variety of ways. There are many existing Foundations which aid families when a Veteran fall while active duty. However, many Veteran families are excluded because the Veteran did not die while active duty or because of the cause of death. These Veteran's across this great nation served this country. Therefore, the Thomas A Biddle Foundation assists these Veteran's families across this great nation.
